When Atopia finds an ancient record that holds the key to unlocking the secrets of the world, Jipsey Dak, a ruthless pirate of the space pirates' union, sets his sights on it. Atopia is rescued by a legendary space pirate named Cobra, who is bound to no one, but his Psycho-Gans transform him into a fierce force for battle. Alongside each other, the two attempt to stop Jipsey Dak and his revived enemy, Crystal Boy, from stealing the record and using its secrets to rule the world.
